An earthenware vase with green iridescent lead glaze decorated in relief to the shoulder with a pair of ring handles surrounded by mythical animals. It is thought that this type of vase, a funerary object, was made in pottery as a cheaper substitute for a bronze examples.

Condition: three rim chips and a small area of glaze loss to body.

Han dynasty (206 BC - AD 220).
