Japanese plate

A Japanese Arita plate decorated in underglaze blue, green and blue enamels with a bird perched on a bamboo stem by a rock. There are traces of other overglaze and enamel decoration of floral sprigs which has nearly completely worn away.

Condition: loss of enamels and overglaze polychrome decoration.
