A large Japanese Imari lamped vase decorated with four main panels of ho-ho birds and other birds amongst rocks and foliage and eight smaller panels on the shoulder with dragons and other foliage. With French brass rococo style mounts applied to the neck and on a French brass stand.
Condition: excellent.
Dimensions: 44cm high, including mounts, excluding light fitting.
Japan, Arita, late 17th century, the brass mounts French and 19th century.
