An ovoid shaped Delft earthenware blue and white vase with a Chinoiserie decoration of figures in a landscape. Both the shape and the decoration of this vase is unmistakably taken from Chinese 'transitional' porcelain of the mid-17th century.
Condition: poor, a large crack runs from the rim and across the vase, another hairline from rim and significant glaze wear to the rim.
