A blue and white Delft octagonal bowl decorated with a chinoiserie subject of alternating panels of a figure in landscape with a boat on a lake. This bowl can be considered a direct copy of a Chinese example of the Transition period, circa 1630.
Condition: poor: two large pieces re-stuck.
