A Swatow stoneware dish decorated beneath a craquele glaze in blue with the Chinese character for 'great(est)'.
Although possibly not the 'greatest' Swatow dish, it is decorated with instinctive vigour.
Condition: two rim cracks and multiple rim chips and fritting.
